Fix-a-Frame was established in 1991 by David Schummy. David is a qualified picture framer and world record boomerang thrower.

David teaches picture framing regularly at Technical and Further Education Colleges and also runs private classes.

This site has been established to help you become a better artist and picture framer. Even though custom picture framing is integral to Fix-a-Frame's success, David is happy to pass his knowledge on to you so that you can achieve professional results.

Whether your interests are needlework, cutting and joining frames or gilding you will be sure to find information here to help you.

Our reference section is always growing and we welcome any input that you can make to make this a better site.
